Two uprisings
The names from Andimeshk go back above all to two periods. 15 names are from the year 1398; that is, more than half of this page. From the year 1404 there are six names on this page. From the years 1401 and 1403 one name each has also been recorded: one on 22 Ordibehesht 1401 and the other on 4 Mordad 1403.

In this list Andimeshk is a city of the young. The median of the ages is 21 years; the youngest person was 17 years old and the oldest 57. 1 person was under 18 years of age. The sources that reported the names from Andimeshk have not clearly written of any of them that they were a woman.
Hossein Kaydi
Hossein Kaydi, 17 years old, who according to the source was interested in bodybuilding and mountaineering, had passed the university entrance exam in computer science, but wanted to take the medical entrance exam and become a doctor. He was killed in Dey 1404 in Andimeshk by a military round to the heart. According to the source, he “lost his life in the courtyard of their own home, in his mother's arms and before his father's eyes.”
According to those close to him, security forces tried to present him as a member of the Basij, but his family objected. His body was handed over a few days later, and the funeral was held in the presence of security forces and with only three family members taking part.
Shahab Fallahpour
Shahab Fallahpour, 19 years old, was a wrestler and, according to the source, “was known as a local athlete in Andimeshk.” On 19 Dey 1404 he was shot by a sniper from a rooftop. The source writes that the shooting “was carried out directly and without warning, and it was not possible to give him aid.” Three days later his body was buried at 4 in the morning, with his father and mother present and without a funeral procession, under the supervision of government forces.
Ali Hashemi Motlagh

About the sources and the incompleteness of this list
These 23 names are not all of the victims from Andimeshk. The real number of those killed from Andimeshk, especially in Aban 1398 and Dey 1404, is higher, and we record only a name for which we have a source. The largest share of the sources for this page is held by Persian Wikipedia with 15 cases; followed by Iran International with 5 and HRANA / Human Rights Activists in Iran with 4 cases. The Iran Human Rights Society and Kayhan London have each reported 2 cases, and Amnesty International, the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center, Haalvsh, HRANA and Independent Persian one case each.
Behind every name there is at least one source, but some records rest on only one report and may contain errors in age, date or the spelling of the name; for example, the sources give the day of Hossein Kaydi's death as 18 or 19 Dey. A description of life is available for only 3 of the people of Andimeshk. If you knew one of these 23 people in Andimeshk, send us your memory or correction.
