About this list

The list of the Javid-Nam in East Azerbaijan is not complete. The real number is higher and the names of many were never published; we record only a name for which we have found a source. The largest share of this page comes from the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center with 156 cases; followed by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network with 85, the Iran Human Rights Society with 80, HRANA with 35 and the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (English-language) with 26 cases. Every name from East Azerbaijan has at least one source, but some come from only one report. For 20 people a description of their life is available. If you knew someone from this list, from Tabriz, Maragheh, Ahar or other cities of this province, send us your memory or correction.
