The day 12 Ordibehesht 1403, with 14 names, is the day with the most names this month. After it come 29 Ordibehesht 1403 with 11 names, 2 Ordibehesht 1403 with 8 names, and 10 and 13 Ordibehesht 1403 with 7 names each. That is, on two consecutive days, 12 and 13 Ordibehesht, twenty-one people were executed; and the month, just as it had begun, ended with a heavy day.
The executions are recorded above all in Karaj with 12 names and Urmia with 11 names; after them come Kerman and Baneh with 5 each, Isfahan and Salmas with 3 each, and Arak, Saqqez, Kermanshah and Ilam with 2 names each. Fathers who were executed
For 27 of the Javid-Nam (“everlasting names”), those who lost their lives, this month, details appear in the sources, and almost all of these details are one thing: children. Din Mohammad Mirkhani, who was executed on 10 Ordibehesht 1403 in Isfahan, according to the source “was married and had 9 children.” On the same day Alireza Sargolzaei, 25 years old, “married and father of 2 children,” was also executed. Mansour Narouei, 36 years old, “married, with three children,” had been hanged one day before, on 9 Ordibehesht.
On 2 Ordibehesht 1403, three men whom the sources all call married and with children were executed: Ahmadreza Miri, 34 years old, and Shamseddin Keshani, 53 years old, in Kerman, and Esmail Esmailzadeh, 37 years old. Mohammad Shahbakhsh Dana, 22 years old, and Mehdi Ashtarak Shahrestanak, 40 years old, were both executed on 11 Ordibehesht; the sources have written of both that they were married and had children. A 22-year-old young man who was himself a father, and a forty-year-old man, were gone from their homes on one day.

Saman Malekzehi, 28 years old, “married and with one child,” was executed on 22 Ordibehesht. The charge attributed to each of these men is the account of the authorities, and this page does not regard it as a verdict of their guilt.
What we do not know
Of the 11 people who were killed outside any protest in this month, and of the 33 women on this list, the sources we have here have recorded no description. We do not know who lost their life in custody and what happened to them.
Sources and incompleteness
These 121 names are not all of those who were executed or killed in Ordibehesht 1403; the real number is higher, and many executions were reported without names. The list for this month contains only names that have a source. The sources of this page are the Iran Human Rights Society with 99 cases, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network with 72, Haalvsh with 25, HRANA with 21 and the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (English-language) with 5 cases. Some entries have only one source. If you knew one of these 121 people, send us your memory or correction.
