According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organisation: on Thursday, 18 Dey 1404, a Kurdish citizen identified as Morteza Yaghoubi, 41 years old, married, father of four children, a Kurmanji Kurd from Esfarayen, lost his life during the popular protests in this county as a result of direct live fire by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

After taking a written pledge not to hold a memorial service, government bodies handed over the body to the family, and the burial ceremony was held in the village of "Naghiabad", Esfarayen County, North Khorasan Province.
