How they died

• On Thursday, 28 Tir 1403, following an armed attack by three unknown persons on his khanqah and residence in the “Tappeh Malan” neighbourhood of Saqqez, Mr. Azad Shahabi was hit by bullets together with two of his followers and, after being taken to hospital, lost his life at 5:30.

• On the evening of Monday, 23 Mehr 1403, after the word “martyr” was written on Mr. Shahabi's gravestone, security forces raided his khanqah in Saqqez and, without presenting a judicial warrant, beat a number of Sheikh Azad's family members and dervishes of the khanqah, including a number of women and dervishes.

  نیروهای امنیتی، شامگاه روز دوشنبه ٢٣ مهر ١۴٠٣، به ‌دنبال نوشته شدن واژه «شهید» بر سنگ مزار آقای شهابی، به خانقاه او در سقز یورش برده و بدون ارائه حکم قضایی تعدادی از اعضای خانواده شیخ آزاد و دراویش خانقاه، از جمله تعدادی از زنان و دراویش را مورد ضرب‌ و شتم قرار دادند.
