About the sources and the incompleteness of this list
These 26 names are not all of those from Eslamabad-e Gharb who were killed. The real number of victims from Eslamabad is higher, and we record only a name for which we have a source. The sources of this page are scattered: iranhrs.org with 18 cases, HRANA / Human Rights Activists in Iran with 17, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (English-language) with 16, Kurdpa with 15 and Iran International with 14 cases. The Hana Human Rights Organization has reported 13 cases, the Iran Human Rights Society 12 cases, and Persian Wikipedia and Hengaw 11 cases each. Every name has at least one source, but some only one. For 12 of these 26 people a description of their life is available. If you knew one of the victims from Shabad, send us your memory or correction.
