Pouya Faragardi was a violinist. He began playing the violin as a child and taught at various music schools. He also made wooden instruments such as ocarinas in his own workshop and had a hand in design. A warm and lovable man with a warm voice and an artistic spirit. According to his friends, he could never be indifferent to injustice and oppression. He devoted the last years of his life to caring for his elderly and sick father and mother, and within a short time lost both of them. He lived in his mother's house in Majidieh. After several days without news, when his maternal aunts went to his house, the stove under his kettle was on and his mobile phone was also at home. After ten days they found his lifeless body at Kahrizak.

پویا فراگردی نوازندهٔ ویولون بود. او از کودکی نواختن ویولون را آغاز کرد و در آموزشگاه‌های گوناگونی تدریس می‌کرد. او همچنین در کارگاه خودش سازهای چوبی مانند اکارینو می‌ساخت و دستی هم در طراحی داشت. مردی صمیمی و دوست‌داشتنی با صدایی گرم و روحیه‌ای هنرمند. به گفتهٔ دوستانش او هیچ‌گاه نمی‌توانست نسبت به ظلم و ستم بی‌اعتنا باشد. او سال‌های آخر زندگی‌اش را وقف تیمارداری از پدر و مادر پیر و بیمارش کرد و ظرف مدت کوتاهی هر دو آن‌ها را از دست داد. در خانهٔ مادرش در مجیدیه زندگی می‌کرد. پس از چند روز بی‌خبری وقتی خاله‌هایش به خانهٔ او رفتند زیر کتری‌اش روش بود ک موبایلش هم در خانه بود. پس از ده روز او را پیکر بی‌جان او را در کهریزک یافتند.
