How they died

Mohammad (Sina) Saranoushnejad, 31 years old, was killed on Friday, 19 Dey 1404, in the protests in "Isfahan" by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic.

After five days of searching in Isfahan's medical centres and checking the lists of those killed in halls one and two of "Bagh-e Rezvan" in Isfahan, they finally identified him on 24 Dey among the photos of unidentified persons.

One of those close to the family of Mohammad (Sina) Saranoushnejad tells IranWire: "When he did not return home on Friday night, his family began searching in medical centres, and when they did not find him they went to Bagh-e Rezvan in Isfahan. In each list of both halls of Bagh-e Rezvan they found no trace of him. Finally, after 5 days of searching, on 24 Dey 1404, they identified him through the photos of unidentified persons." According to those close to Mohammad (Sina), the photo of him shown to the family indicated that he had been on a bed resembling a hospital bed and that there was a tube in his nose. The family also noticed in the photo things attached to his ear but have not been able to tell what they are.

یکی از نزدیکان خانواده محمد(سینا) سرانوش‌نژاد، به ایران‌وایر می‌گوید: «خانواده‌اش وقتی او جمعه شب به خانه بازنگشت شروع به جستجو در مراکز درمانی کردند و وقتی او را نیافتند به باغ رضوان اصفهان رفتند. در هر فهرست هر دو سالن باغ رضوان هیچ اثری از او نیافتند. سرانجام پس از ۵ روز جستجو در ۲۴ دی ۱۴۰۴ از طریق عکس‌ افراد مجهول‌الهویه او را شناسایی کردند.» به گفته نزدیکان محمد(سینا)، عکسی که از او به خانواده نشان داده شده نشان از آن داشته که او روی تختی شبیه بیمارستان بوده و لوله در بینی‌اش وجود داشته‌است. خانواده همچنین در عکس متوجه چیزهایی که به گوش او وصل بوده شدند ولی نتوانسته‌اند تشخیص بدهند که چیست.

After their death

Security agents did not allow the handover of Mohammad (Sina)'s body until his father and paternal uncles pledged that only 20 people would be allowed to attend the funeral procession and that the burial would not take place in Isfahan.

ماموران امنیتی اجازه تحویل پیکر محمد (سینا) را ندادند تا پدر و عموهای او تعهد دادند که صرفا ۲۰ نفر اجازه حضور در مراسم تشییع پیکر را داشته باشند و خاکسپاری نیز در اصفهان انجام نگیرد.
