The case

Mr. Navid (Farshid) Afkari Sangari was executed at around 3 a.m. on 22 Shahrivar 1399 in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.

After their death

Contrary to the regulations on the enforcement of sentences, Mr. Afkari did not have a last visit with his family.

Mr. Afkari's body was handed over to the family in the darkness of night, at the graveside, and they buried Mr. Afkari at night in the village of Sangar, in a small family gathering, in the presence of a large number of security agents.
