Sepehr Shokri was killed by agents in Tehran. According to Sepehr's mother at his ceremony, plainclothes forces had shot him in the abdomen. The family took him to hospital and he had two successful operations, but forces of the Islamic Republic killed him in the hospital by shooting. On 2 Bahman, citizen-journalist Vahid Online published a 12-minute video of his father at the Kahrizak forensic medicine centre, weeping as he searched for his son among masses of bodies wrapped in black bags and asking "Daddy's Sepehr, where are you?", a sentence that has become a symbol of the bloody protests of Dey 1404.
