Morteza Sheikhi underwent surgery twice, but due to the severity of the injuries and the resulting infection he lost his life on 25 Dey.

Morteza Sheikhi, 36 years old, was hit by live fire on Friday, 19 Dey 1404, in the protests at "Meraj Square" in Mashhad, and died after six days due to the severity of his injuries.
