به ضرب یک گلوله جنگی و یک گلوله ساچمه‌ای کشته شد. ابتدا از ناحیه پهلوی راست هدف شلیک یک گلوله جنگی قرار گرفت. در حالی که تلاش داشت خود را از تیررس مأموران نجات دهد یکی دیگر از مأموران که سلاح شاتگان به دست داشت از فاصله بسیار نزدیک ران پای او را هدف شلیک گلوله ساچمه‌ای قرار داد.
After their death
- Finally, on Sunday, 21 Dey 1404, Mohammad's family took his body out of Khorramabad at night and buried him in his father's village "Cham-Mort", Mamulan.

سرانجام یکشنبه ۲۱دی۱۴۰۴ خانواده محمد پیکر او را به طور شبانه از خرم‌آباد خارج کردند و در روستای پدری‌اش «چم‌مورت» معمولان به خاک سپردند.
