How they died

• Bodybuilding athlete and gas pipe fitter. Given the events of the night of 18 Dey, when a large crowd had come into the streets, the Shahreza Security Council had closed the main streets of the town and turned them into a military zone, and only Shahid Beheshti Street had seemingly remained open, which became a killing ground for the protesters. According to him, in all the alleys of this street several snipers were lying in wait on the rooftops. After the shooting at protesters began, when Mehdi and other protesters try to flee, the snipers target them, and Mehdi too is shot from behind, and the bullet hits his head from behind. According to this eyewitness, people get Mehdi's body to a clinic in a Nissan [pickup], and 5 days later his family identify his body at Bagh-e Rezvan in Isfahan. Mehdi Chooghadi's body has been buried with security agents present.

  ورزشکار بدنساز و لوله‌کش گاز. شورای تأمین امنیت شهرضا با توجه به اتفاقات شب ۱۸ دی که جمعیت زیادی به خیابان آمده بودند، خیابان‌های اصلی شهر را بسته و آن‌ها را به منطقه‌ای نظامی تبدیل کرده بود و فقط خیابان شهید بهشتی به‌ظاهر بازمانده بود که به قتلگاه معترضان تبدیل شد. به‌گفتهٔ او، در تمام کوچه‌های این خیابان، بر پشت‌بام‌ها چند نفر تک‌تیرانداز کمین کرده بودند. بعد از شروع شلیک به معترضان، مهدی به‌همراه دیگر معترضان وقتی سعی می‌کنند فرار کنند، تک‌تیراندازها آن‌ها را هدف می‌گیرند که مهدی هم از پشت هدف گلوله قرار می‌گیرد و گلوله از پشت به سر او می‌خورد. به‌گفتهٔ این شاهد عینی، مردم با یک نیسان پیکر مهدی را به یک درمانگاه می‌رسانند و ۵ روز بعد خانواده‌اش پیکر او را در باغ رضوانِ اصفهان شناسایی می‌کنند. پیکر مهدی چوقادی با حضور مأموران امنیتی به خاک سپرده شده است.
