An informed source told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network: "This boxing athlete was severely wounded by live ammunition of IRGC forces on Saturday, 13 Dey 1404, during the popular protests in the town of Malekshahi, and had been transferred to the intensive care unit of Khomeini Hospital in Ilam." According to this source, "early on Tuesday, 16 Dey 1404, this citizen lost his life in hospital after 4 days of hospitalisation due to the severity of his injuries.
