About this list

The list of children and adolescents who lost their lives is not complete. The real number is higher, and the names of many children were never published; we record only a name that has a source. The names on this page come from many sources, including HRANA / Human Rights Activists in Iran with 273 cases, Iran International with 256, iranhrs.org with 234, the Iran Human Rights Society with 198 and Persian Wikipedia with 197 cases. Every name has at least one source, but some rest on only one report, and the recorded age may be in error. For 171 children a description of their life is available. If you knew one of these children, share your memory or correction with us.
