An informed source, confirming this news, told Kurdpa: "Saeed Safari" had come out into the street on the evening of 19 Dey 1404, like thousands of protesting citizens, when, while saving the life of his friend who had been attacked with a "machete" by plainclothes security men, he was hit in the chest by birdshot of the repressive forces from close range.

How they died

Saeed Safari, 49 years old, a football coach and veteran, was wounded on Friday, 19 Dey 1404, in the protests in "Ilam" by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, fell into a coma and died a few days later.

Hana Human Rights Organisation has learned that on Thursday, 25 Dey 1404, a Kurdish citizen identified as Saeed Safari, from the Deh-Balai tribe in Ilam Province, who had been wounded on 18 Dey by gunfire of the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic, lost his life.

After their death

Saeed Safari's body was buried at the "Salehabad" cemetery in Ilam with security agents present.
