This page keeps the memory of 78 school students; people whom the sources, in the description of their lives, have introduced as school students. People who still carried a school bag on their back, had not yet written tomorrow's homework or were just making plans for the university entrance exam and university. 65 of them were killed in protests, 6 were executed, 3 lost their lives in custody, 3 were killed by government forces and one outside the protests. The first date on this page is 28 Esfand 1390 and the last 18 Tir 1405.
Children
The median age on this page is 17 years; the youngest was 3 years old and the oldest 27. 63 of these 78 people were under 18. The sources have written of 12 people that they were girls or women. Of the 78 names, 63 belong to the year 1404 and 6 to the year 1401; on 18 Dey 1404, 22 school students and on 19 Dey 1404, 17 more were killed. Tehran with 12 names, Karaj with 7, Kermanshah with 6 and Isfahan with 5 names have the highest numbers.

Sina Ashkbousi, a 17-year-old school student from Tehran, was the only child of his family; for his seventeenth birthday they had brought him a letter from “Hogwarts,” because he was a passionate fan of Harry Potter. Sam Afshari, 17 years old, in Karaj, a final-year computer student and provincial swimming champion, hoped to study abroad; his father has said about his last moment: “The breathing tube was in his mouth. They came and shot him.” Ribin Moradi, 17 years old, a school student and footballer in the Saipa youth team, was targeted from behind. Mehr and Aban 1401
Sarina Esmailzadeh, 16 years old, a “gifted” student at the Farzanegan school in Karaj, wrote poetry and had a YouTube channel; this sentence of hers remains: “The Iranian teenager is no longer the teenager of 20 years ago.” She was killed with a baton on 1 Mehr 1401 in Mehrshahr. Sarina Saedi, 16 years old, a ninth-grade student in Sanandaj who wanted to become a doctor or a university professor, lost her life a few weeks later, on 4 Aban 1401. She had said to those who were worried about her going: “They too had fathers and mothers.”
A school student who was executed
Bahram Ahmadi, a final-year student of mathematics and physics in Sanandaj, was the ninth child of a working-class family. At the age of 20, on 7 Dey 1391, he was executed in secret together with 5 others, and his family heard the news from their city's member of parliament. The charge attributed to him is the account of the authorities, not a verdict of guilt.
